Good to know

  • Text watermarks use Latin letters, numbers and common symbols. Other scripts are not supported yet.
  • A watermark below the content can be hidden by images and filled areas.
  • Anyone with a PDF editor can remove a watermark. It labels a document; it does not lock it.

Why it's private

  • Processed in your browser

The tool runs on your device. There is no upload step and no server that receives your files.

  • Works offline

Wait for Offline ready before disconnecting. OCR and Office conversion also need their engines saved on this device.

  • No ads or trackers

Tool pages load no ads, no analytics scripts and no third-party code.

Questions

Can I add my logo?

Yes. Choose Image, then a JPG or PNG. A PNG with a transparent background stays transparent.

Can I watermark only some pages?

Yes. Choose "Selected pages" and type their numbers, for example 1, 4-6.

Can people remove the watermark?

Someone with a PDF editor can. A watermark marks a document as a draft or as yours; it does not stop copying. To stop people opening the file, protect it with a password.

Does it work with password-protected PDFs?

Yes. Enter the file's password when asked; it is used on this device only. The new file is not password-protected.

Are my files uploaded anywhere?

No. Your browser does the work on this device, and the tool keeps working offline once the page has loaded. Nothing is sent to a server.
