Questions
Should I choose JPG or PNG?
JPG makes smaller files and suits most uses. PNG keeps every pixel exact, which helps with sharp text and diagrams, but the files are larger.
What does DPI mean here?
Dots per inch: how many pixels each inch of the page becomes. An A4 page is 1240 by 1754 pixels at 150 DPI, and 2480 by 3508 at 300 DPI.
Does it work with password-protected PDFs?
Yes. Enter the file's password when asked; it is used on this device only. The new file is not password-protected.
Are my files uploaded anywhere?
No. Your browser does the work on this device, and the tool keeps working offline once the page has loaded. Nothing is sent to a server.
